Emma Watson: Beautiful in Black at “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” UK Screening
Keeping up with her hectic schedule, Emma
Watson got all gussied up for the “Perks of Being a Wallflower” screening in
London, England today (September 26).
The Hermione Granger gal looked stellar in a strapless black dress teamed with a pair of black trousers as she headed inside the Mayfair Hotel to peep her new picture.
However, Emma will definitely be turning her head at certain points in the flick, as she can’t stand seeing herself getting freaky with her costar Logan Lerman.
Watson explained, "It's really funny because when I watch the film back, there are a few things I can't watch. I can't watch the Rocky Horror dancing scene, and I can't watch the kissing scenes.”
"This film really pushed me out of my comfort zone. I told the director (Stephen Chbosky) that I have just come from playing Hermione Granger and you are expecting me to dance and putting me in corsets, and it's difficult."

Emma Watson Covers NYLON October 2012
With her new movie "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" out in theaters, Emma Watson landed on the October 2012 cover of
NYLON magazine.
Joined by co-stars Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller, the 22-year-old actress playfully posed in Chanel and Tommy Hilfiger for the Guy Aroch shot front page while dishing about everything from taking on a cult classic to becoming famous.
On her movie, "The Perks of Being a Wallflower:"
"I feel more directly creatively involved with the whole project--you're part of a very small, passionate group of people who are trying to bring something to life. You feel like you're in a traveling circus, or a company of actors."
On growing up in the spotlight:
"I've done my life backwards; it's really bizarre[…] Most of my friends are just about to start working, and I've had a job for the past 10 years. It's strange, because most people spend that decade figuring themselves out and figuring out what they like and what they don't like--just making mistakes in the privacy of their own teenage bedrooms. And I am kind of doing everything in a different way, so sometimes it's a bit isolating."
On taking on a cult classic:
"Whatever people might think about it, whatever criticisms they have, all three of us were so vulnerable--all three of us really gave it everything we could and everything we had, and all three of us went into the movie terrified and very much aware of what this book means to people. "

“The Master” Upsets Church of Scientology
The media has never been shy when it
comes to poking fun at The Church of Scientology, and the new flick “The Master”
takes the scrutiny to a new level.
Starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams, and Laura Dern, “The Master” is based on the story of a war veteran who creates a faith based organization along with a group of his disciples.
An insider/former Scientologist told press that The Weinstein Company director Paul Thomas Anderson can expect static from Scientology spokespeople.
“The Weinsteins may receive a similar letter [to the one sent to Vanity Fair] — but it will no more of a threat than the empty bleatings sent toVanity Fair. The only difference being that they won’t sue Vanity Fair because the story is true, and they won’t sue the Weinsteins because the story is not true — and you cannot defame a dead person.”
“The organization is probably troubled by The Master because they tried to stop it and couldn’t. In my estimation — and I have not seen the movie — based on the statements of Paul Thomas Anderson, the church would have been much smarter to take him at his word — that this is a movie ‘inspired by’ events in L. Ron Hubbard’s life and use it as a springboard to promote to people the real story of the life of L. Ron Hubbard,” added the source.
Meanwhile, star Rami Malek claimed that Scientology never came up on the set. “Paul never said anything regarding Scientology toward me throughout the film, and I spent a good deal of time with him. It was very surprising. Definitely you can see the links, but for the most part, [that story] really took over in the media.”

Kim, Kourtney & Khloe Kardashian Say “Good Morning America”
Kim, Kourtney & Khloe Kardashian are
no strangers to self-promotion, and earlier today (September 13) Kim, Kourtney
Kardashian and Khloe dropped by “Good Morning America.”
The E! reality television stars looked top-notch as they worked their magic for the shutterbugs prior to giving an energetic interview at the Times Square studios.
In related news, Kim recently shot down the tabloid reports that her sister Kourtney had kicked her boyfriend Scott Disick out of their Calabasas home.
“They are better than ever. I feel bad Scott gets such a bad rap. Good thing they’re too busy being parents to pay attention to nonsense!” said the “Disaster Movie” hottie.
An erroneous report claimed, “Despite recently welcoming their second child, a girl named Penelope Scotland, the relationship between the two remains the worst they’ve ever been. Scott is never alone with Penelope because he is so irresponsible. Kourtney doesn’t even like for him to hold [the baby] because she’s afraid he’ll drop her. He’s a 29-year-old dad with no real job and nothing to do. So he’s partying again and drinking heavily. The family is rallying around Kourtney, [as] Scott isn’t being a good role model or dad. Kris Jenner is furious that Scott’s out in public acting like a drunk. She’d rather kick him out and be done with him until he grows up.”

"Hunger Games: Catching Fire" Begins Filming in Georgia
Right on schedule, the sequel to "The Hunger Games" has begun principal photography today (September 10).
Shooting primarily in Atlanta, Georgia, before moving to the beaches and jungles of Hawaii, "Catching Fire" will wrap in late December of this year.
Lionsgate's President of Productions, Eric Feig, said of the project, "The stakes are raised in every way in this second story, and we are thrilled to get the production underway in these perfect locations, with our excellent returning cast and some world class actors in new roles."
Returning stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson will be joined by Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Stanley Tucci, and Donald Sutherland.
The sequel to the blockbuster film follows Katniss as she returns home after winning the Hunger Games along with Peeta. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way, Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever.

Jake Gyllenhaal Appears on "The Late Show with David Letterman"
Looking a bit like Teen Wolf in his
scruffy beard, shades, and slicked back hair, Jake Gyllenhaal stopped by the
"Late Show with David Letterman" today (August 27).
The "Love and Other Drugs" star wore a well-tailored navy suit with a white dress shirt and black shoes for the appearance.
In September, you can see the 31-year-old in the cop drama "End of Watch" in which he plays Officer Taylor, who patrols the dangerous gang-ridden streets of south central L.A.
Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, the "Brokeback Mountain" star explained his preparation for the film. "I spent five months on the streets with, like, three sets of police officers from the sheriff’s department and from the LAPD for five months, three nights a week, from like 4 in the afternoon til 4 in the morning."
Observation wasn't the only method of preparation however. Jake continues, "Then we did fight training -- pretty much every day with the exception of the weekend -- and then tactical training for two days a week with live ammunition. So it was a five-month, I would say, 'recruitment process,' in a way. It was very intense."

Kristen Stewart: Backing Out of "Cali" Role?
In the wake of her infamous cheating
scandal, it sounds as though Kristen Stewart may be calling it quits on one of
her upcoming projects.
According to breaking reports, it has been explained that the "Twilight" actress has dropped out of her role in "Cali" - a film she was not only set to star in, but also produce.
As a replacement, it has been rumored that Amber Heard has been offered the part, but, at this time, there's been no comment by reps for the "Rum Diaries" darling as ton whether or not she'll be taking on the project.
Aside from the fact that Kristen's camp could not be reached for a comment, Voltage Productions (who are behind the film) declined to comment on details - though they did say that there will be an announcement of some sort made in the near future.
The Nick Cassavetes directed flick follows two lovers, Mya and Chris, who decide to return to Los Angeles to save a loved one from a group of unsavory characters. These events all come after Mya previously fled the area years before when she disappeared with cash she took from the production of a snuff film.

Fans of the F. Scott Fitzgerald classic
"The Great Gatsby" will have to wait a little longer to see the new film

pushed from the original Christmas 2012 release date to summer of
2013.
Despite the delay, the production company assures fans of the roaring twenties novel that it will be worth the wait. "The Hobbit" Officially Announces Three-Part Film Plans
Sending Middle-Earth fans into a frenzy, Peter Jackson has confirmed "The Hobbit" has officially become a trilogy after announcing on Monday (July 30) plans for a third film instead of the originally scheduled two.
Sharing the news through his facebook page, the franchise's director explained, "We know how much of the story of Bilbo Baggins, the Wizard Gandalf, the Dwarves of Erebor, the rise of the Necromancer, and the Battle of Dol Guldur will remain untold if we do not take this chance."
The epic fantasy-adventure tale will begin this December when the first installment titled "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" opens with the follow-up film dubbed "The Hobbit: There and Back Again" due in December 2013.
Now, the pair of highly-anticipated flicks will be capped off by a third motion picture which is expected to hit theaters sometime in Summer 2014.
Check out Peter Jackson’s announcement in it's entirety below:
"It is only at the end of a shoot that you finally get the chance to sit down and have a look at the film you have made. Recently Fran, Phil and I did just this when we watched for the first time an early cut of the first movie – and a large chunk of the second. We were really pleased with the way the story was coming together, in particular, the strength of the characters and the cast who have brought them to life. All of which gave rise to a simple question: do we take this chance to tell more of the tale? And the answer from our perspective as the filmmakers, and as fans, was an unreserved ‘yes.’
We know how much of the story of Bilbo Baggins, the Wizard Gandalf, the Dwarves of Erebor, the rise of the Necromancer, and the Battle of Dol Guldur will remain untold if we do not take this chance. The richness of the story of The Hobbit, as well as some of the related material in the appendices of The Lord of the Rings, allows us to tell the full story of the adventures of Bilbo Baggins and the part he played in the sometimes dangerous, but at all times exciting, history of Middle-earth.
So, without further ado and on behalf of New Line Cinema, Warner Bros. Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Wingnut Films, and the entire cast and crew of “The Hobbit” films, I’d like to announce that two films will become three.
It has been an unexpected journey indeed, and in the words of Professor Tolkien himself, ”a tale that grew in the telling.”

new poster for the movie was released today (July 25) showing the film's three
young stars, Emma Watson, Logan Lerman, and Ezra Miller.
The drama tells the story of 15-year-old Charlie (Lerman) and his struggle to cope with his first love, the suicide of his best friend, and his own mental illness, all while struggling to fit in.
In related news, the "Harry Potter" starlet made headlines recently when PerezHilton.com reported that she may be considered for the role of Anastasia Steele in the hot romance film "Fifty Shades of Grey."
According to the source, film producers Mike De Luca and Dana Brunetti felt that the 22-year-old actress was a good fit for the role.
Weeks ago, actors Channing Tatum and Matt Bomer were rumored to be considered for the male lead, Christian Grey.
