Spending the weekend south-of-the-border,
Kristen Stewart was in promotional mode in Mexico City on Saturday (May
19).
The 22-year-old actress was joined by
co-star Sam Claflin as the pair tended to a press conference at the St Regis
Hotel for their upcoming film "Snow White and the Huntsman".
Set to hit theaters on June 1st, the
fairy tale twist finds "the Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) ordered to take Snow
White (Stewart) into the woods to be killed winds up becoming her protector and
mentor in a quest to vanquish the Evil Queen (Charlize Theron)."
The visit to Mexico comers just after
Kristen took time to chat with The Insider about how she's maintained a level
head after skyrocketing to super-stardom thanks to her role as Bella Swan in the
"Twilight" mega-popular franchise.
"These types of situations (referring to
the interview) are really the only times that you have to deal with it and it
feels really fitting and appropriate and it makes sense," Stewart dished of her
fame. "It only gets weird when it enters this strange world of suddenly you're
interesting beyond your job, and some people buy in to that and think, 'Alright!
Cash in! I'm like totally gonna sell myself,' and I don't think they're even
aware of what they're doing."
