Oscar-winning classic movies--Roman Holiday

　　Roman Holiday is largely a 1953 romantic comedy directed and developed by William Wyler and starring Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn. Hepburn won an Academy Award for most excellent Actress for her performance; the screenplay and costume style also won.

　　Audrey Hepburn grew to become a star with this film, by which she performed Princess Anne, weary of protocol and anxious to possess some enjoyment prior to she is mummified by "affairs of state." On the diplomatic pay a visit to Rome, Anne escapes her regal retainers and scampers incognito via the Eternal City. She occurs to fulfill American journalist Joe Bradley (Gregory Peck), who, recognizing a warm information story, pretends that he doesn't recognize her and provides to provide her a guided tour of Rome. Naturally, Joe hopes to obtain an exclusive interview, whilst his photographer pal Irving (Eddie Albert) attempts to sneak a photo. And just as naturally, Joe falls in adore with her. Filmed on place in Rome, Roman Holiday garnered an Academy Award with the 24-year-old Hepburn.
