Emma Watson Covers NYLON October 2012

With her new movie "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" out in theaters, Emma Watson landed on the October 2012 cover of NYLON magazine.

Joined by co-stars Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller, the 22-year-old actress playfully posed in Chanel and Tommy Hilfiger for the Guy Aroch shot front page while dishing about everything from taking on a cult classic to becoming famous.

On her movie, "The Perks of Being a Wallflower:"
"I feel more directly creatively involved with the whole project--you're part of a very small, passionate group of people who are trying to bring something to life. You feel like you're in a traveling circus, or a company of actors."

On growing up in the spotlight:
"I've done my life backwards; it's really bizarre[…] Most of my friends are just about to start working, and I've had a job for the past 10 years. It's strange, because most people spend that decade figuring themselves out and figuring out what they like and what they don't like--just making mistakes in the privacy of their own teenage bedrooms. And I am kind of doing everything in a different way, so sometimes it's a bit isolating."

On taking on a cult classic:
"Whatever people might think about it, whatever criticisms they have, all three of us were so vulnerable--all three of us really gave it everything we could and everything we had, and all three of us went into the movie terrified and very much aware of what this book means to people. "

“The Master” Upsets Church of Scientology

The media has never been shy when it comes to poking fun at The Church of Scientology, and the new flick “The Master” takes the scrutiny to a new level.

Starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams, and Laura Dern, “The Master” is based on the story of a war veteran who creates a faith based organization along with a group of his disciples.

An insider/former Scientologist told press that The Weinstein Company director Paul Thomas Anderson can expect static from Scientology spokespeople.

The Master

“The Weinsteins may receive a similar letter [to the one sent to Vanity Fair] — but it will no more of a threat than the empty bleatings sent toVanity Fair. The only difference being that they won’t sue Vanity Fair because the story is true, and they won’t sue the Weinsteins because the story is not true — and you cannot defame a dead person.”

“The organization is probably troubled by The Master because they tried to stop it and couldn’t. In my estimation — and I have not seen the movie — based on the statements of Paul Thomas Anderson, the church would have been much smarter to take him at his word — that this is a movie ‘inspired by’ events in L. Ron Hubbard’s life and use it as a springboard to promote to people the real story of the life of L. Ron Hubbard,” added the source.

Meanwhile, star Rami Malek claimed that Scientology never came up on the set. “Paul never said anything regarding Scientology toward me throughout the film, and I spent a good deal of time with him. It was very surprising. Definitely you can see the links, but for the most part, [that story] really took over in the media.”

Kim, Kourtney & Khloe Kardashian Say “Good Morning America”

Kim, Kourtney & Khloe Kardashian are no strangers to self-promotion, and earlier today (September 13) Kim, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe dropped by “Good Morning America.”

The E! reality television stars looked top-notch as they worked their magic for the shutterbugs prior to giving an energetic interview at the Times Square studios.

In related news, Kim recently shot down the tabloid reports that her sister Kourtney had kicked her boyfriend Scott Disick out of their Calabasas home.

Good Morning America

“They are better than ever. I feel bad Scott gets such a bad rap. Good thing they’re too busy being parents to pay attention to nonsense!” said the “Disaster Movie” hottie.

An erroneous report claimed, “Despite recently welcoming their second child, a girl named Penelope Scotland, the relationship between the two remains the worst they’ve ever been. Scott is never alone with Penelope because he is so irresponsible. Kourtney doesn’t even like for him to hold [the baby] because she’s afraid he’ll drop her. He’s a 29-year-old dad with no real job and nothing to do. So he’s partying again and drinking heavily. The family is rallying around Kourtney, [as] Scott isn’t being a good role model or dad. Kris Jenner is furious that Scott’s out in public acting like a drunk. She’d rather kick him out and be done with him until he grows up.”

Wowing the crowds with her stunning looks, Olga Kurylenko was on hand at the “To The Wonder” premiere in Venice, Italy on Sunday (September 2).

Donning a floor length black gown, the 32-year-old star joined her castmate Romina Mondello at the star-studded Palazzo del Cinema for the Venice Film Festival event.
The film’s cast was spotted at its photo call earlier in the afternoon, held at the Palazzo del Casino.

In regards to the flick, recent reports claim that Ben Affleck’s once leading role has been significantly reduced.

According to reports, blogger Jeffrey Wells, who is at the Telluride Film Festival this week, where Affleck is in attendance to support "Argo", tweeted on Friday that the actor's "Wonder" part has been significantly cut. "I'm told he's barely in [it]," Wells wrote.
